‘I’m
Holdin’ On’ / ‘Relapse’ is the 3rd single by the Watford 3 piece – The
Spitfires.
The
songs, written by lead singer and guitarist Billy Sullivan, are aggressive
stabs at teenage growing pains – isolation, paranoia, frustration, lost love
and a longing for acceptance. Feelings that can be identified by anyone growing
up in modern day Britain, all wrapped up in an explosion of Guitars, Bass and
Drums.
The
single was recorded at Paul Weller’s Black Barn Studio in Surrey and was
produced by Charles Rees and will be available on 7” vinyl, CD and download on
Cooking Soup Records on Monday 3rd March.
