years since the famous riots between the Mods and Rockers but the passion for
all things 'Mod' is still very much a part of our culture today. Many towns
across the country still have a Mod contingent - easily spotted in their sharp
clothes, riding scooters, looking cool - and Brighton is certainly no
exception! Paul 'Smiler' Anderson has been a DJ on the scene since the early
80's and his new book brings together first-hand accounts from the original Mod
generation. Top faces, scooter-boys, DJ's and musicians build up a vivid
snapshot of what it was really like to be with the in-crowd.
