Dexys Midnight Runners were formed in 1978 by Kevin Rowland and Kevin Archer in Birmingham, England. The band are arguably one of the finest groups ever to emerge from the UK.
Dexys Bootleg Runners are the world's first tribute band to this legendary act and hail from Scotland. The band are a full 10 piece group including horn section, banjo, accordion, organ, piano, guitar, bass, fiddle, vocals and drums.
The band perform all the classic Dexys Midnight Runners songs that you love - "Geno", "There, there my dear", "Dance Stance", "Come on Eileen", "Jackie Wilson Said", "Seven days too long", "Tell me when my light turns green", "Plan B" and more.
Deep Six features members of 80s Mod bands, Makin' Time (the forerunner to The Charlatans), The Threads, The Upper Fifth and The E-Types. A 4-piece band, Deep Six will be playing original material from their new EP on Heavy Soul Records as well as originals from their previous bands and some classic covers.
