'Detail' - the magazine for Modernists. Issue 1 to be launched in September.

Detail Magazine will be a new print publication dedicated to offering a more in-depth look at all things modernist. Detail is a collaboration from the team behind Welsh Mod: Our Story & Suit Yourself Modernist Culture

This twice-yearly magazine aims to cut through today's digital noise with carefully curated content and long-form articles in an appealing but familiar format.
Featuring contributions from some of the most passionate exponents of the modernist ethos, Detail will bring you insights and exclusives on music, culture, style and design.

The first issue of Detail will be launched in September and our new website has been launched where you can pre-order issues 1 and 2, fantastic ladies and gents exclusive Detail polo shirts and our super cool tote bag. It's also a one stop place for all Detail info and an insight into the magazine.

In the first of his regular columns for Detail, comedian Ian Moore talks more about clean living in the recent difficult circumstances. Editor, Claire Mahoney speaks to Fay Hallam the high priestess of the revival mod scene about her many musical incarnations. Paul ‘Smiler' Anderson dons his shades and takes a look at the most iconic sunglasses of the sliver screen. Peter Jachimiack takes us on a journey from London to New York and back with British jazz greats Ronnie Scott and Johnny Dankworth. Adrian Holder of The Moment talks us through his love of cycling and explains why he believes it to be the ultimate mod sport. Plus exclusive contributions from Graham Lentz, Jason Brummell, Nathan James Le Bas, Jason Disley, David Dry, and Sean Chapman.
