The second in the line
for official, fully licensed SECRET AFFAIR reissues is their follow-up to
"Time For Action".
"Let Your Heart
Dance", with it's tribal drum intro, leading to the horns and Ian Page's
impassioned plea came out in late 1979 and reached #33 in the UK charts,
prompting another Top Of The Pops appearance.
More dancey than its
predecessor: "I felt
Time for Action got people punching the air, but I didn't feel that it was a
song to dance to,” said Ian Page.
“Let Your Heart Dance is a dance anthem with lots of horns, but with the room for Dave [Cairns] to do that extraordinary thing he does with the guitar over the top. It was a fantastic opportunity to test a studio to its limits; there are about three drum kits on it".
Re-released on blue coloured vinyl, keep the set going - "My World" is next!
