BBC Radio WM celebrates 2 Tone at O2 Institute 3 in Birmingham on Thursday 2 May

 

Join BBC Radio WM for a special evening celebrating 2 Tone in Birmingham to mark the broadcast of Steven Knight’s new BBC One Drama This Town, with live performances, memories and chat at the city’s historic venue O2 Institute in Digbeth.

Featuring live sets from The Beat featuring Ranking Jnr and BBC Introducing stars Lobster, alongside conversations with Horace Panter (The Specials), Pauline Black (The Selecter), Mark Almond (costume designer, This Town), and a DJ set from Mazzy Snape (Birmingham International Ska Festival and The Night Owl), this one-off event is hosted by journalist Adrian Goldberg and will be recorded for broadcast.

Please note this is a standing performance only.

Tickets will be allocated by random draw.

You can register at any time until 11pm on Friday 19 April.

You can apply for a maximum of two tickets.
