‘Last chance to dance’ at the MODS exhibition in Northampton




Paul Lander, Museum Manager at the Northampton Museum & Art Gallery where the Mods exhibition is currently running tells me, "The exhibition has been a great success with over 20,000 visitors so far.  It ends on Sunday 29th September but we have decided that as it’s always better to go out with a bang than a whimper we’ve arranged an extra music event as detailed below.  Could you post this on the Modernist Society Blog for me?"

To celebrate the success of the MODS exhibition there will be a “Club night” on Saturday 28th September – the last weekend of the exhibition.

We’ve been fortunate to get two of the best DJ’s on the scene - Wayne Napier Gibbins and Nath the Ace to bring their renowned vinyl collections to the museum for a great night of Mod, Soul, R&B, Reggae and Ska."
