‘Last chance to dance’ at the MODS exhibition in Northampton

Paul Lander, Museum Manager at the Northampton Museum & Art Gallery where the Mods exhibition is currently running tells me, "The exhibition has been a great success with over 20,000 visitors so far.  It ends on Sunday 29th September but we have decided that as it’s always better to go out with a bang than a whimper we’ve arranged an extra music event as detailed below.  Could you post this on the Modernist Society Blog for me?"

Of course we can Paul - so details for the grand finale next weekend are as follows: -

‘Last chance to dance’ at the MODS exhibition

To celebrate the success of the MODS exhibition there will be a “Club night” on Saturday 28th September – the last weekend of the exhibition.

We’ve been fortunate to get two of the best DJ’s on the scene - Wayne Napier Gibbins and Nath the Ace to bring their renowned vinyl collections to the museum for a great night of Mod, Soul, R&B, Reggae and Ska."
Doors open at 8pm and Admission is just £4.  You can either get your tickets in advance from the Museum – 01604 838111 or pay on the door.  Details on the museum website.  www.northampton.gov.uk/museums
