– A CELEBRATION of five decades of Mod since the watershed year of 1964 – will
hit London on Easter Bank Holiday weekend.
The bash
will feature acts ranging from Motown legends Brenda Holloway and The
Velvelettes through to Small Faces’ rhythm ace Kenney Jones And Friends via ’79
Mods Secret Affair and latter day groups The Apemen and Les Cappuccino (see

The
MOJO-approved four-day freak-out takes place at The Venue (229 Great Portland
Street, London W1) between April 17 and 20 and will also celebrate Mod culture
in its wider sense with a fashion show, a record fair, an indoor market, a
scooter run and a Sunday daytime riverboat party all set to take place over the
weekend.
