Quadrophenia
Symposium organiser, Pam Thurschwell (University of Sussex), says, “As the May
18-19th Whitsun weekend anniversary approaches I'm suddenly being bombarded by
the BBC interested in the conference and the anniversary. (I'm very aware that
I'm good on Quadrophenia and not an expert on the Mods!).”
“I was
just speaking to a BBC South radio producer who is looking for mods, rockers or
witnesses who were actually in Brighton, participating or witnessing it at the
time. Do you know anyone who might fit the bill? We are asking people who were
there if they'd like to get in touch and be interviewed for a radio slot on BBC
Sussex?”
