"Most
of the major construction work on the Blues Hall of Fame has been completed
thanks to the generosity of the blues fans and numerous friends and supporters
from Memphis and around the world. The Blues Hall of Fame, located at 421 Main
Street in Memphis, directly across from the National Civil Rights Museum, is
scheduled for an on-time opening on Friday, May 8, following the Blues
Foundation’s annual Blues Music Awards the previous night."
