Old
Italian Mod veterans are back with 10 newly recorded tracks
that will
hit the streets on Friday 20th January 2017. To coincide
with the
release date, the band is back over in the UK to do a
mini tour.
At last
the new studio album by The Five Faces is here. After debuting on Detour’s
off-shoot Paisley Archive label with their live CD "On the Run" in
2015 and starring on the first ever Detour DVD "Live in London" in
2016, it was high time for a studio effort. And you can find the typical Faces
sound on here... not the sound of Mod bands getting inspired directly by the
original 60s period, but that hybrid sound too Mod to be Punk and too Punk to
be Mod. It sounds very much like...1978, that is being right in the middle
between...1977 and 1979! If the guitar works of Undertones, Vapors, Jolt and
Purple Hearts is the right style for you, then you can't really miss this!
