John’s Children announce rare London gig to promote ‘A Strange Affair’ CD (Cherry Red)

John's Children celebrate the release of A Strange Affair at 229 The Venue (229 Great Portland Street, W1W 5PN London) on Friday, 7 February 2014.

John’s Children were the quintessential cult 60s Mod/Psych band, controversial, sharply dressed and subsequently the stuff of legend.

The band were fronted by Andy Ellison (later with Jet and Radio Stars) and boasted Marc Bolan within their ranks during their short life.

A new CD "A Strange Affair" (Cherry Red), compiled by Andy Ellison and with sleeve notes from ex-manager Simon Napier-Bell, has put together their entire sixties output in one lovingly packaged set. It is released on the 25th November 2013.
