MARGATE MOD & SIXTIES FESTIVAL - WHITSUN BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND



Great British Music & Culture present a brand new event this summer in the rejuvenated seaside town of Margate on the Kent coast. The fantastic Westcoast which houses three areas including a top Live Music & DJ Venue, Restaurant & The Black Cat Club room are opposite the new Turner Arts centre in the heart of the old town surrounded by vintage shops, boutique hotels, family run cafes, restaurants, tea rooms and even an old sweet shop. The UK’s first ever fun fair, Dreamland will opening its doors for the first time in over a decade this summer. Margate also offers one of the best Beaches in Britain and one of the few places you can watch the sun rise and set. 

If that wasn’t enough to persuade you to plan a visit to this revitalized seaside resort we have put together a program that will be sure to thrill you over the Whitsun bank holiday weekend. 

Over three evening and two daytime events we have put together a stellar program of live acts, internationally renowned + local DJ’s, dancing competition, Scooter run and competition, market & record fair, special food and drinks offers and fun guaranteed.

All evening events are at the Westcoast/Black Cat club which has two DJ rooms and a fantastic live music set-up. Our daytime events are on the Piazza opposite the Westcoast and seafront with ample parking space for scooters. We will have a stage with live music including battle of the bands on Saturday afternoon, open decks DJ sessions, scooter comp, market, food and drinks at special prices for wristband holders. Check back once in a while as we add more to the program.
