Review/Pictures of last night's 'Britalian Job'

Last night's 'Britalian Job' in Nottingham was a huge success and thanks must go to the organisers and everyone that attended and contributed to making it a very enjoyable evening. The old Britalian Job nights were great events and I'd only recently seen that they had started up again thanks to a flyer on Face Book.

Starting at 8pm, the DJs went straight into some great Mod tunes, playing quite a lot of material not normally heard at these type of events (British R&B, Freakbeat etc.), along with more regular soul tunes, which made for a refreshing change. And as the night went on, the dance-floor became progressively busier.

In fact the music policy for the evening was quite varied, even within each individual DJs set, which made for a more relaxed evening and created a very good atmosphere. It was great to catch-up with people we hadn't seen for a while and the Nottingham Mods were very welcoming and friendly.

The next Britalian Job night in Nottingham takes place on Friday 1st February 2013 and it's well worth making a note of that in you diary now.
